Classily Unexpected / Design and construction / Province of Milan
An important volume of the house presented in these photographs, is the minimalist wooden cube that dominates the surrounding environment. The project, which we oversaw during each phase, reserves a surprise in the attention to the interiors: this time we dealt with an environment of an unexpected classic flavor. The couple who own this villa, on the outskirts of Milan, asked us to mix the clean rooms we designed with classic style furniture, this is particularly noticeable in the choice of some furnishing accessories. The walls of the living area, bathed by the indirect light coming from the plasterboards, are heated due to the stone wall with golden tones. The kitchen, with glossy lacquered doors the Way model by Snaidero, warms up the colors in shades of brown, in contrast to the light tone of the floor. In the sleeping area there is space which plays with light and emphasizes the rooms and the delicate tones of pink and dove gray.
